MyPetDog.infoDog Emotions:Can your pet sense your emotion? my mom and dad were watching a sad show and my mom was crying. my dad said when the dog saw hr crying she became sad too. my mom thinks he crazy.
can your pets sense how you feel? Answer In my opinion, I think they can. It's happened to me quite a lot. I'm not an expert, but animals seem to be very sensitive to other's emotions- or their own. They grieve when a pet close to them runs away or goes away. They sense when their owner is happy, and gets happy too. Like I said, it happens to me a lot.
Hope it helped! :) Do you think Dog's can sense heavy emotions? My husband has been out of town and I have been really missing him. My little beagle has been much more attentive and not as annoying as she usually is. I'm not sure if she is missing him or she feels sorry for me and is trying to "Be there for me". She comes up and wants to cuddle with me or wants me to hold her and when I'm laying down, she will come and put her paw on me and she is just very very attentive.
Go Figure! Answer Dogs are amazingly sensitive. It boggles the mind. Your little beagle is doubtless sensing what is happening with you, and attempting to offer comfort. No freaking doubt. You are experiencing it, it is happening, it is true, it is a fact.
Are dogs capable of emotion? Someone told me that dogs aren't capable of emotions such as being sad or happy or depressed, or excited, or even love. But I think they are. One reason is my dad got this Chihuahua when it was just 8 or 9 weeks old and when she was 7 yrs old my dad died from cancer. Well the dog was really attached to him & loved him, and after he was gone she got really sad & depressed, and 2 weeks later she died. I was really sad. Also another reason I think dogs are capable of emotions is I have a 2 yr old daughter (she was born may 2006) and for my first Mother's Day (my daughter was only 10 days old), my fiance bought me a chihuahua puppy. Well, that puppy is a full grown dog now (only 3lbs) and never wants to leave my 2 yr old daughter's side. The only time they're not together is when we have to go somewhere that doesn't allow dogs. She loves my daughter. Anyway. What is your opinion on dogs and emotions? Also any stories that show dogs showing e
motion? Thanks! =)
Answer Yes, dogs can definitely show emotion. Every day at 2:30p my dog runs to the front door and whines. Waiting for my kids to come home from school. My kids say he does the same thing when I go to the store. When I ask my dog if he wants a treat, he gets so happy I think he's actually smiling at me! When I ask him if he wants a bath, he crawls away from me! He hates bath time! Now, my cat shows no emotion.
Have you ever just stared at your dog in the face? And look into her/his eyes wondering what they were thinking? I mean today i just stared into her eyes for like 2 minutes wondering if she thought i was weird. LOL it almost felt awkward. Like i never stop to think that my dog could be feeling awkward or confused or felt weird. I always just loved her and fed her and played with her and made sure she was healthy, safe and you know, happy. Never stopped to think if she felt other emotions...its weird
Answer its very rare for a dog that looks into your eyes to be born they don't like being stared at but both of mine are loyal and if a dog looks into your eyes for more then 10 seconds they have total loyalty to you
